The studio

Software for the hardest seasons of a life.

Martori is a software studio in Nashville, Tennessee, founded by Brian Martori. It makes companions for the seasons nobody plans for: heartbreak, grief, recovery, the nights the nervous system will not stand down.

Sanctuary is the flagship. The world you are standing in right now was the studio's first build, and it is still the clearest expression of how Martori works: patient software for an impatient kind of pain.

The full studio, its work, and its practice live at martori.studio.

Operating principle

Built to be outgrown, not depended on.

Most software is engineered to keep you. Martori's is engineered to let you go. Each companion is built for a season, not a lifetime, and the day you stop needing one is counted as the win.

That shapes everything downstream: no tallies, no guilt loops, nothing designed to hold you longer than the season lasts. You arrive in a hard stretch, you use the thing, and you leave.

The work

Experiences and tools.

Heartbreak
Sanctuary
The studio's flagship. A world for the long fog after a breakup. It is the site you are reading now.
Grief
Vigil
A quiet companion for life after a loss, one room at a time.
Addiction recovery
Marrow
A companion for recovery, built for the hours between meetings.
Nervous-system regulation
Drift
Somewhere to go when the body will not settle.
Gambling harm reduction
Ledger
A free prediction game that keeps the stakes imaginary.
Work
Datum
A companion for the hardest stretch of a career.

The tools. Alongside the experiences, the studio builds sharper instruments for narrower moments: Thermal, which helps independent musicians find where their work lands. Cut, a consent-first home for placing music. Surge, a ninety-second circuit breaker for the moment everything spikes.

The practice

One thing for sale.

Martori also builds for other people, and the practice is deliberately small.

The Listening. Every engagement starts with a free 45-minute conversation. It ends with a written blueprint that is yours to keep, whether or not anything else happens.

The Sketch. A two-minute roadmap generator, for when a conversation is more than you want yet. Try the Sketch.

The Build Day. $500 for a day of building. It is the one thing the studio sells.

The whole practice is laid out at martori.studio/practice.
